God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:9

Faithful and Blessed

Faithfulness

The faithfulness of God.

God is faithful and he calls us to be faithful, but what does that really mean? We may believe in God but are we faithful to him?

One of the definitions of faithful is: steadfast in affection or allegiance : loyal. a faithful friend.

Lamentations 3:22 tells us that God's love is faithful and that it never ends. For us to fully experience that love, we need to be faithful to God, steadfast in our affection and loyal to his word.

The bible teaches us about the greatest love the world has ever known. God demonstrated his faithfulness to us by sending his one and only son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross and pay the price for our sins. There is no greater love that this. When we place our trust in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we will be blessed beyond measure to have the most faithful friend who loves us, unconditionally, and will never leave us or forsake us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

How do we seek God?

We are to seek God with all of our heart and soul. That means we put God first, we make him a priority. We worship God, we read his word, we praise him, and we live a life that honors God. When we let God lead in our life, blessings always follow.

Seek God
Pray Without Ceasing
Trust in the Lord

What does it mean to pray without ceasing?

Much the same way we have daily conversations with friends and family, we are to always be in communication with God. He wants to hear from us! He wants us to be persistent and to bring everything in our lives to him in prayer.

What does it mean to trust in the Lord?

It is often easy to trust God when things are going well. It is in the hard times, the painful times, the times when we can barely breath and the tears won't stop flowing; it is in those times, God wants us to trust him. He loves us so much and he is always faithful.

I know that God is the author of my story, and I fully trust Him with the pen because the beauty, depth, honor, and purity of the work He produces is so beyond what I could ever write for myself.
